Mr. J K Pathak has completed his M.COM and LLB from H.P. University. He has been working as an agent with LIC of India since December 1989, achieving the prestigious MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table Conference) qualifier status 17 times. With over 30 years of experience in GIC and health insurance, he also worked with Consortium Securities Pvt Ltd. as a franchisee for 15 years. Currently, he is associated with Motilal Oswal Financial Services for stock trading as a franchisee for the past three years.
His professional qualifications include licentiate and associate diploma courses from the Insurance Institute of India and clearing around 15 modules of the financial market from NISM, covering capital markets, derivatives, commodities, securities, and currency.
Mr. Pathak has received special training in wealth management from MDI, sponsored by LIC of India, and training from the Institute of Insurance Sales Training in Pune. He has attended numerous insurance training programs at various levels in LIC of India and served as a guest faculty for many years at the LIC of India Agents’ Training Centre Division in Shimla, HP.
In social services, he served as the secretary for over 27 years and president for 5 years in the Life Insurance Agents’ Federation of India, Divisional Council Shimla Himachal State. He joined the Rotary Club of Shimla Midtown District 3080 in 2011, serving as president for two tenures during the rotary years 2016-17 and 2022-23, where he was awarded the best president of the year by the District Governor. Additionally, he served as secretary during the rotary year 2021-22 and was awarded the best secretary of the year by the District Governor. He has represented the Rotary Club of Shimla Midtown at international conferences in the USA, Canada, and France.
